Who’s The Program For
This is a workout routine tailored to beginnings and has progressions for intermediate lifters as well. The material covered is well explained and thought out so the beginner will easily be able to follow the program.
Though beginnings can use the program I don’t recommend it for the absolute beginner. This isn’t intended to be your first workout. So if you don’t have at least 3 months of training under your belt you may be better off waiting until it’s re-released in June.
Ben does a good job digging into the techniques so the intermediate lifter will have plenty to work with and help them grow.
The advanced lifter will get a few nuggets out of the program. They may even find some of the science interesting, but they will know a vast a majority of whats in the program.
What I like about Hypertrophy MAX
What I really like about the workout program is that it’s a full year. You have everything you need laid out in one well organized plan.
The program is based on phases so it evolves as you do for continued growth. Instead of having to jump from one program to the next you have everything to take you to the next level.
What To Watch Out For
This program is only for those committed to building muscle. The workouts are hard and they require time and dedication.
There may be a bit of sticker shock. Because this is a year long program, and is delivered to your home the price point is about 10 times more than that of your typical online workout ebook.
With that said, it is 12 micro-cycles, or 12 mini workouts. And the instruction is great. If you were to pay a trainer or join something like CrossFit, the price of the program would only get you through 2 or 3 months.
